Lithuanian fashion & portrait photographer Paulius Zaborskis invites us to experience the backstage of a major Lithuanian Fashion Event Fashion Infection ’17 (Mados Infekcija)
Did you fall in love with photography early on? Or it took a while to find yourself?
It took a while, and I was quite surprised, but when everything started to happen I realised I was in love with it from early days. I just had to believe in myself.
Which one do you prefer – studio photography or events, backstage?
Something in between. I like to create the image, not to wait for the decisive moment, so studio space opens more possibilities for me, but I do like movement and dynamics in my works.
It’s kind of stressful to be working in the backstage of major fashion event. How would you describe the experience of the first day at Mados Infekcija ’17?
For me its not stressfull at all. It’s like a big happy anniversary celebration of some kind. I get to meet so many of my friends in one place, we chat, we laugh, then I take pictures.
Humans or Objects?
Personalities.
