Verily Magazine Launch Party // LIFESTYLE
[dress – Aritzia // sandals – Dolce Vita // bag – bcbgmaxazria]
On Monday my beautiful friend Mary and I attended Verily Magazine launch party co-hosted with Bubble Bar and Godiva Spirits, held in what seamed the most appropriate girly location in the city – a gorgeous pop up shop in the heart of Soho. The event was a great success, as it was the perfect combination of an actual empowering conversation on “Women and Media” and, of course, chocolates, cupcakes and champagne. I wore a dress that I got last summer, (you can see the outfit post here) once again celebrating the fact that once you develop your taste and more timeless style, there’s no need to run out and buy for every event. Even after a year.
But, what I really want to talk about is the mission that Verily team has decided on. When looking on the surface, it might seem that the focus of this magazine is very similar to others – style, relationships, lifestyle and culture; however, once you start actually reading the articles, you’ll soon notice that the feel of Verily is very distinct and set apart. Verily is all about who women are and not who a lot of media present we should be. Fashion and beauty in this magazine celebrates our differences, relationship advise is educating, positive and holistic, culture is based on investigation and focuses on today’s most important issues. Check it out here! I’m excited for the bright future of Verily Magazine and want to wish all the best to the beautiful team!
